Udaipur, January 2, 2025 - Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 1, 2025, where the PM praised him for making a name internationally. However, Dosanjh has also faced legal trouble following his concert in Ludhiana.

A complaint was filed by Punditrao Dharenavar, an assistant professor from Chandigarh, accusing Dosanjh of promoting alcohol through songs like Patiala Peg, 5 Tara Theke, and Case (Jeeb Vicho Feem Labbiya). The notice urged authorities in Ludhiana to ban such songs, even if the lyrics are modified.

Dosanjh’s Ludhiana concert on New Year’s Eve at Punjab Agriculture University ground concluded his two-month-long "Dil-Luminati India Tour," which began on October 26 in Delhi.

The tour was a major success but ended amid this controversy over alleged pro-alcohol songs.
