Another film shoot is about to happen in Udaipur. Actress Sri Devi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khattar are expected to be in town by 18th November.

Udaipur is about to witness another movie being shot in its beautiful landscapes. Under the banner of Dharma Productions, Karan Johar is all set to shoot his next film in the city of lakes. Karan Johar is expected to reach Udaipur by 18th November. This movie is a Hindi remake of Marathi film “Sairat”.

Karan Johar selected Sri Devi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan for the lead roles. This will be a debut film for both of them. Both the actors went round taking a view of the city some time back where their debut film will be shot. It is being said that Hotel Radisson Blu has been booked for the entire film crew.

The story goes this way:

Ishaan is a Dalit boy in the movie who falls in love with Jhanvi, a Brahmin girl. The film is based on restrictions in caste system. The scenes will be shot in the rural areas. Certain shots will be filmed in the city and some in the hotel itself. The important scenes and song sequences will be shot in Udaipur. The shoot will go on for 40 days for which the hotel has been booked from 18th November onwards.
