The team of SAB-TV’s famous show “Tarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah” marked their presence in the City of Lakes today.

It was the 700th episode of the show that was broadcasted on Thursday, 22 Sept. 2011. The team will go to Nathdwara tomorrow to pay their homage to the shrine of Shrinath ji and from there they will depart.

At Rajputana Resort special arrangements were made for the media persons and all the characters introduced themselves and shared their experiences with the show. Daya bhabhi’s exclusive tone was the centre of attraction for all. However, it was a very nicely arranged conference where all the persons were in jovial mood.

Tarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah is very popular comedy show liked by people of all ages not only in Gujarat but in all the parts of India and neighboring countries as well. The Show is based on “Duniya Ne Oondha Chashmah” written Tarak Mehta who is 82 years old now.

These stories are being published continuously from many years in a well known Gujarati Magazine “Chitralekha”.

Asit Modi, the producer of the show told reporters, “The show is some different than the written stories but many characters are same in the episodes of TV show. The Characters like Tapu, Jethalal, Daya Bhabhi, Champaklal, Popatlal, Sundar, Tarakbhai, Himmatlal Mastar, etc. have a realistic presence in Tarak’s imaginations.”

The most astonishing was to know about Ghanshyam Nayak who is playing the role of Champaklaal Jayantilal Gada, a 68 years old man but in his life he is only 38 years old and he has become bald for about 283 times in the last three years for the show.

The team comprises of Jethalal Champaklal Ghada (Dilip Joshi), Daya Jethalal Gada (Disha Wakani),Tapu ( Bhavya Gandhi) , Champaklaal Jayantilal Gada (Amit Bhatt), Natukaka(Ghanshyam Nayak), Taarak Mehta (Shailesh Lodha), Madhavi Atmaram Bhide (Sonalika Joshi), Atmaram Tukaram Bhide (Mandar Chandwadkar) , Sonu Atmaram Bhide(Jheel Mehta), Dr. Hansraj Hathi, ( Ambika Ranjankar) Komal Hathi, (Kush Shah) Goli Hansraj Hathi,)Iyar(Tanuj, Mr. Roshan Singh Sodhi(Gurucharan Singh),  Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi ( Jeniffer Mistry ), Gogi Sodhi ( Samay Shah), Abdul, Inspector Daya Shanker Pandey and Patrakar Popat Lal.
