Udaipur's Hiransh Wins 2nd Runner-Up Title at Surtarang Finale
Eleven-year-old Hiransh Verma from Udaipur was declared second runner-up in the 41st Surtarang Grand Finale organised by Sangam Kala Group
Udaipur, Feb 25, 2026 - Eleven-year-old Hiransh Verma from Udaipur has brought pride to the city by being declared second runner-up in the 41st Surtarang Grand Finale held at Kamani Auditorium in Delhi. Organised by Sangam Kala Group, the event featured talented participants selected from across the country who showcased their musical skills.
Reaching the grand finale was highly challenging. Participants had to clear two district-level rounds, two State-level rounds, followed by inter-State rounds, semi-finals and finally the grand finale. Out of thousands of participants, only three reached the final stage.
Hiransh’s father Grihavardhan, is an officer at BSNL in Udaipur, while his mother Damini Arya works at CTAE College Udaipur. Hiransh credits his success to his music teacher Dinesh Verma, whose guidance helped him reach this milestone.
The grand finale was attended by several renowned personalities from the music industry including celebrated singer Hariharan.
The Sangam Kala Group platform has long been known for providing national recognition to emerging musical talents. Several famous Bollywood singers have started their careers from this stage.
