Udaipur International Film Festival (UIFF) 2012 will commence tomorrow on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Shilpgram’s Darpan Auditorium at 10:00 AM and will conclude on Sunday, September 16, evening 6:00 PM.

Director of the Film Festival Hanu Roj said, “The festival is organized with the help of West Zone Cultural Centre. It will be inaugurated by the chief guests Subhash Kapoor (Director of Salaaam India, Fas Gaye re Obama and Julie LLB), Young Director, Gaurav Panjwani, I. G. T. S. Damor, V. C. Pacific College, Professor B. P. Sharma and Director of West Zone Cultural Centre, Shailandra Dashora”.

Ceremony will start by paying tribute to 3 legendary film personalities, ‘Kaka’ Rajesh Khanna, Dara Sing and A K Hangal.

The festival will open with the short film named ‘Open Doors’ and end with a Bangladeshi film ‘Meherjaan’.

The local communities will get an opportunity to watch 47 outstanding films from India and other countries of the world, including, The United States, France, England, South Africa, Germany, India, Iran, Peru, Canada, Australia, Spain, Iraq, Norway, Georgia and Bangladesh etc.

During the festival, both the venues will be decorated with the beautiful posters of classics like, Mother India, Mughal-e-Azam etc.
