Udaipur, March 28,2025 - Hrithik Roshan will make his directorial debut with Krrish 4, the fourth part of the popular superhero film franchise. The film will be produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF) in association with Rakesh Roshan. Hrithik Roshan, who played the lead role in the previous three Krrish films, will now also direct Krrish 4. This marks his first time as a director. The film's shooting is expected to begin early next year.

Confirming the news, Rakesh Roshan said, “I’m passing the baton of the director of Krrish 4 to my son, Hrithik Roshan, who has lived and dreamt about this franchise since the beginning!” He added, “Hrithik has a great vision to take Krrish’s journey forward. I am very proud to see him wear the director’s hat.”

Rakesh Roshan also announced it on Instagram, writing, “Duggu, 25 years ago I launched you as an actor, and today after 25 years, you are being launched as a director by Aditya Chopra and me.” Krrish 4 is expected to be one of the most ambitious superhero films in Bollywood.
