It is time for entertainment again. Reopening of movie theatres are likely to bring relief to the tensed nerves; and for the cinema lovers it is a relief to get back to their movie mania.

INOX in Lake City Mall reopened on Thursday. This multiplex was shut down in the wake of covid and public was eagerly waiting to enjoy the movies of their choice on big screen. The first day of the show had 3 shows on 2 screens. The first one was at 4:45 pm, followed by 6:45 pm and 9:30 pm.

It may be noted that movie theatres reopened in Rajasthan by 8th of February but theatres in Udaipur reopened a few days late due to maintenance work. The good news is that a discount of 30 percent is being offered on the tickets. Apart from this they also have an option of private screening. All services like ticket booking and food requirement are to be done online.

PVR will reopen on Friday. The halls have a capacity of 1150 people and 3 out of 4 screens will begin the shows. The capacity of public in each hall has been reduced by 50 percent.

After online booking, a message will be sent on mobile which will have to be shown at the entrance of the theatre. The 3-D glasses are for one time use. An antimicrobial film which does not allow any virus to stay has been used from the entry gate to the hall. Water coolers are sensor based. At the end of the show, a break of 40 to 50 minutes will be taken wherein the halls will be properly sanitised for the safety of the next show.
