-It is being expected that the drawing of the structure will get approved this week itself.

-The company will be given 2 years' time to complete the rope-way work.

Udaipur is about to be blessed with another rope-way and this one would prove to be quite good for the people who wish to visit the Neemuch Mata Temple but their health prohibits them to go uphill. The Neemuch Mata Temple will become easily accessible for the aged through the rope-way, the work for which is likely to be commenced this month.

The structure drawing is being tested by Malviya National Institute of Technology and is likely to be approved this week and once the approval is granted, the work will begin. The company has been given 2 years’ time to complete the rope-way work.

UIT had sent the mechanical chief engineer (PWD) for technical inspection of the structure drawing, post which it was sent to Jaipur for final test. It is in the final stage of inspection and it is expected that the approval will be provided this week itself. Once the approval is granted, the company Damodar Rope-way will be issued license and then the work will begin.

The 400 metre rope-way will consist of 12 trollies. The lower station will be at Dewali end, Fatehsagar, and the upper station will be at Neemuch Mata. 72 persons (600 people per hour) will be able to avail the rope-way facility.
