Panchayat 5: Neena Gupta Confirms Script Leak

Panchayat Season 4 got a mixed response from viewers. The story showed the election fight between Manju Devi and Kranti Devi, but many people feel the latest season was a bit weak. The reason is that the series lost some of its original comedy and charm.

Still, the love for the show remains strong, and now people have started talking about Panchayat Season 5.

Jitendra Kumar’s acting as Secretary ji was praised once again. Meanwhile, veteran actress Neena Gupta, who plays Manju Devi in the hit series, has made a statement that is being widely discussed. She has talked openly about Season 5. Earlier, Sanvika, who plays the role of Rinki, also confirmed that the work on Panchayat 5 has already started. Right now, fans are busy guessing what the new season’s story will be.

Script of Panchayat 5 Leaked?

In a recent interview with IANS, Gupta revealed that the script of Season 5 has already been leaked. This was during the promotions for Panchayat Season 4.

During the interview, Gupta asked the interviewer a question — “Who do you think will win the election?”

The reply came, “Manju Devi will win.” Then the person added, “But something strange might happen — like a mistake in vote counting. Maybe Manju Devi challenges it in Court and in the end, she is declared the winner.”

On hearing this, Gupta laughed and said, “The script has already been leaked!”

She jokingly added that everyone should now get ready for the next season because the story is already out.
