Udaipur, May 7, 2025: Indian Idol singer Pawandeep Rajan met with a road accident on Monday morning. His car was hit by a goods truck on the Delhi National Highway in Amroha district, Uttar Pradesh, India. Pedestrians rescued him and first took him to a local hospital, then later transferred him to Fortis Hospital in Delhi NCR for better treatment. According to hospital sources, he suffered broken bones and a head injury in the accident. The surgery lasted for six hours.

Pawandeep Rajan’s Surgery and Recovery

Indian media outlet Hindustan Times reported that after the surgery, doctors will keep Pawandeep under observation for three to four days. If his condition improves, he will need to take complete rest, after which a decision will be made on further treatment.

Statement on Pawandeep’s Condition

A statement from Pawandeep's official Instagram account said, "Pawandeep's condition is now stable, but another surgery is required. He is responding and slowly recovering."

Details of the Accident and Surgery

The statement continued, "Monday was a very difficult day for Pawandeep and his family. He spent the entire day in severe pain and unconscious. He was taken for surgery around 7 pm, and after a complex six-hour procedure, some of his major injuries were successfully treated. He is currently in the ICU and will undergo another surgery after a few days of rest."

Cause of the Accident

It has been learned that Pawandeep's driver fell asleep while driving, which led to the accident. The car lost control and hit a truck. Not only Pawandeep, but others in the car with him were also injured. Pawandeep had left home for an event in Ahmedabad.
