Nehru Bal Udhyan in Town Hall will start pedal boat operations in the pond from 7^th July. The pedal boat services will begin after a period of 8 years. The last operation was in 2011 which had begun in 2004.

4 pedal boats will be a source of entertainment in the Town Hall pond from Sunday where public will get to enjoy the weather and also relax after the day’s toil. This will also increase activity in the park in Town Hall area. As per Municipal Corporation, the pedal boat will prove to be an added attraction during the time of Deepawali fair.

The operations had stopped in 2011 since tenders were not invited for the new session. The contractor operating the pedal boats from now on has also been asked to operate a small golf cart for the entertainment of kids. As of now, pedal boat facility is available only at Sukhadia Circle.
