Garage committee held a meeting in Udaipur after a long break. As per the meeting, public can enjoy Udaipur lakes more as a Cruise boat and petrol boats have been given green signal. The garage committee looked into a lot of other pending issues in which it was also decided that the toy train in Gulab Bagh should be operated at the earliest.

Public will have the fun of moving on waves in Lake Pichola in Cruise boat which will be operated from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. In the last meeting Garage Committee had supposedly decided to operate the Cruise from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and then from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. But keeping public interest in consideration, timings were changed. A private company will be operating cruise in Lake Pichola. The estimated operational cost is around 5 crores. People will get to enjoy the feel of multiplex or mall in the Cruise which will have restaurants, music and even games.

Goverdhan Sagar has not been left behind in the series of fun and entertainment. Petrol boats will be operated in Goverdhan Sagar Lake. Earlier there were plans of operating solar boats here but since none of the boating company was keen on this plan, the idea was dropped. In the meeting held this Thursday, petrol boat was into consideration. Tenders will soon be passed for the operation of Cruise and petrol boats.

Apart from these, the matter of Toy train in Gulab Bagh was also discussed. Operation of Toy train for children has been pending since long. It has been reported that the train for children will start its operations by the month of September. Train ticket fare has also been finalised at 50 rupees for Indian adults, 200 rupees for foreign nationals, 25 rupees for students and free for children below the age of 5.
