With state governments issuing lockdown notices across India, the Rajasthan government also followed suit and the Chief Ministers Office issued the lock down notice with immediate effect, on schools, college, gyms, movie theatres and the like.  Also, public events under the government domain were postponed indefinitely.  The lock down will be in effect till 30 March as per the media release issued by the Chief Ministers Office.

PVR Cinemas, at The Celebration Mall, Udaipur is staring at a revenue loss of approximately Rs 25 Lakh over the 16 day lockdown, with no surety of when their services will be allowed to resume.

Speaking to Chirag, UdaipurTimes was informed that the cinema had played the early morning shows at 9am and 10am today, since no formal intimation was recieved by the Management. However, after verbally confirming the news in media, the cinema shut down its services till further notice, without waiting for any formal intimation.

The Celebration Mall, on the other hand, has taken steps to mitigate the infection or infection from spreading to its patrons who visit the mall.

As per Mall Management, Forum Celebration Mall, concrete steps have been taken to have a run down on all possible measures that can mitigate the risk.

Railings, furniture, staircase, lift, washroom units and customer touchpoints are being disinfected at frequent intervals.

All guards on premises are wearing face masks and sanitizers have been placed on all entry

Body temperature measuring infra units are  held by guards at all entry points, to pick up visitors who have the slightest hint of fever.  These visitors are then stopped at the entrance itself and asked to leave the mall, along with who ever accompanied them.

All stores have been individually asked to ramp up preventive measures in their shops to ensure that the visitors are safe... both from contracting as well as from spreading.
