Rajasthani Cinema Fest-2020 will now be held in April. The dates have been shifted to 20th-25th April because of coronavirus. Earlier the fest was to be held from 25th to 27th March. 

The venue will not be changed. It will be in Jawahar Kala Kendra. The main programme will be held in Shilpgram where open air-theatre and live-shooting are the highlights of the fest.

Regional cinemas are on the rise but Rajasthani cinema does not have a grip over all age groups. To encourage Rajasthani movies, the youth will now be connected with the Rajasthani cinema. Free movies and live-shooting are on the agenda to pull in the people towards Rajasthani cinema. 

The Department for art and culture and Rajasthani cinema development organisation are expecting a lot of school and college students in this fest. Awards in 13 categories will be given away in this fest. 50 selected youths will be awarded for their tik-tok videos related to Rajasthani movies.
