December 7, 2024 - Star singer Sonu Nigam is all set to perform in Jaipur at Rambagh Palace on December 9 as part of the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit. The following day, on December 10, singers Ravindra Upadhyay and Maitreyee Pahadi will regale the audience at Jaipur’s Jaimahal Palace.

Sonu Nigam’s cultural evening will give a perfect start to the Rising Rajasthan summit which is aimed at boosting investment in various sectors across the State. Industrialists, investors and celebrities will all be a part of the summit. A special session themed Embracing Diversity: Promoting Inclusive Tourism will be held on the tourism sector. This session will include representatives from India's tourism and hospitality sectors, as well as actor-poet Shailesh Lodha and actor Nakul Mehta.

On the eve of the summit, on December 8, a meeting of the National Executive Committee of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will be held at a five-star hotel in Jaipur. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will be the chief guest at the event. A dinner for industrialists will be hosted at the Chief Minister residence. During this event, traditional folk artists from the State will perform.

The tourism-related session will be chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari. Discussion will focus on travel, hospitality and the tourism sector. Key participants will include the managing director of the Indian Hotels Company Limited and the founders of Planet Abled and EaseMyTrip. The session will cover topics like culinary tourism, adventure tourism, religious tourism and recreational tourism. There will also be discussions on strengthening tourism infrastructure, promoting technology, and sharing global best practices in tourism.
