Miss Universe, as the name says, is the search for the most beautiful, most talented and an extraordinary girl in the Universe. How about the idea of this contest being held in the World’s Most Beautiful City? You must be wondering what I am talking about. Miss Universe… Most Beautiful City..??

Well, let me introduce you to the Miss Universe Contest first, Miss Universe is an annual International Beauty Contest run by the Miss Universe Organization. The contest was first organized by Pacific Mills, a clothing company in 1952. It was held inLong Beach, California and Armi Kuusela grabbed the first ever crown for Miss Universe. In 1996 Miss Universe, Inc. was renamed to Miss Universe Organization.

Coming back to the point, this is undoubtedly something very interesting to be shared with all our readers. We have received a piece of information from some unauthorized sources claiming the next Miss Universe Contest to be held in Udaipur, the City of Lakes.

The city imposes intense romance and passion through a splendid beauty of natural surroundings. It has already become a palladium of Regal and Royal Weddings and attracts a good number of tourists every year. Beautiful Aravallis enclosing palaces, forts, gardens and temples make it a land of dreams with glorious past. Many celebrities have fallen in love with the place by now, and I can say it for sure that the beauties from round the world will go crazy once they are here.

It is supposed that if the lakes are filled up and continue to be in a good state, the pageant would be organized in Jag Mandir. International Airport, well established Railway and Road network, luxury hotels are an added advantage.

Millions of Dollars are being spent every year to make the event “bigger” than ever. Reports say that a sum of over $5 Million was spent last year. This would be a great opportunity for the city and its people to witness this spectacular event. The City would gain a lot more name and fame with this beauty contest. On the other hand, it would be beneficial for the local tourism industry and other business sectors as well.

Let’s hope that it rains well and this event would add another gem to the crown of this beautiful place.
