Udaipur, May 15, 2025: After the success of Pathaan and Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan is not looking back. He is now preparing to take his next film King to a new level. This movie is directed by Siddharth Anand. For the first time, Shah Rukh Khan will share the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan in this film.

After Deepika Padukone, it was recently reported that Anil Kapoor will also be seen in King, showcasing his strong acting skills. And now, after Anil’s entry, his onscreen elder brother is also going to join the film.

Siddharth Anand Brings Back the Iconic Duo

Director Siddharth Anand, who earlier directed War and Pathaan, is bringing back the iconic Anil Kapoor–Jackie Shroff duo. He will begin shooting for King with Shah Rukh Khan from May 20. Abhishek Bachchan will play the villain, while Anil Kapoor will appear as Shah Rukh Khan’s mentor. SRK is playing the role of a gangster in this action-packed film.

Jackie and Anil’s Return After 30 Years

Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor became a hit pair after their film Ram Lakhan was released in 1989. They have also acted together in Karma, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, and Trimurti. Reports say it was Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand’s idea to bring Jackie on board. Siddharth shared the story and Jackie’s role briefly, and the actor quickly agreed to join the film. While details about Jackie’s character are still under wraps, fans are excited to see him reunite with Anil and Shah Rukh on screen. They were last seen together in Trimurti and King Uncle.
