Major Ematt of Star Wars passed away on 31st March. Andrew Jack who played Major Ematt died of coronavirus complications. He was 76.

He passed away at a hospital in England. As reported by his agent McCullough, Andrew lived on a houseboat on the Thames. His wife Gabrielle is also a dialect coach.

Andrew was diagnosed with coronavirus 2 days prior to his death and slipped away peacefully. He starred as Major Ematt in "Star Wars:Episode VIII The Last Jedi" and "Star Wars:Episode VII The Force Awakens".

Jack was a dialect coach in Hollywood and worked on high profile projects like "MIB-International" and "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. He also worked with Christain Bale on his voice for "Batman Begins" (2008). May his soul rest in peace.
