According to Hindustan Times, Sunny has increased his fee by six times after the success of Gadar 2. His new film Jaat has been released in theatres today. The trailer got a lot of praise before the release, and many believe Sunny might deliver another hit with this film.
Sunny Deol Charges Rs 50 Crore for ‘Jaat’
The film Jaat has a budget of Rs 100 crore. According to Indian media, Sunny Deol took a fee of Rs 50 crore for this film. Earlier, he was paid only Rs 8 crore for Gadar 2. That means his fee has increased more than six times in just two years.
A Rare Rise Even by Hollywood Standards
A jump in fees like this in just two years is rare, even in Hollywood. A source from the film Jaat told the Indian daily Jagran that the success of Gadar 2 surprised Sunny. It marked the beginning of his second innings in Bollywood. He has regained his popularity among the audience. That’s why the producers had no problem paying him the amount he asked for.
'Jaat' Receives Positive Reviews
The film, released on April 10 is getting positive reviews from critics. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh rated Jat 3.5 out of 5 stars in his review.
According to him, “The screenplay could have been smarter, and the second half stronger, but the film still doesn't disappoint.” He also praised Randeep Hooda’s performance, saying both his roles—as Sunny and Khal —stood out.

Directed by Gopichand Malineni, this action thriller also stars Regina Cassandra, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Sayami Kher along with Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda.
