This may not be an Udaipur news, but it is still so much an Udaipur news. Actor Bhavya Gandhi, who had become a household name for his portrayal of Tappu’s character in Taarak Mehta ka Ulta Chasma, has called it a quit with the show. 

Taarak Mehta show is known for being one of the longest running TV Shows and still binds the family in front of the television from 8:30pm for half hour every day. Bhavya was associated with the show for 8 years and 8 months before calling it quits.

Bhavya cited his desire to explore himself more as an actor as the reason for quitting the show. He has already signed a Gujarati movie to express himself.

Bhavya was very happy about his association with the show and said he thoroughly enjoyed working with the cast and Asit Modi (Producer).  He confirmed the news and said that he quit the show in January and sought public blessings for his future endeavours.
