Thugs of Hindostan is to be shot in Mehrangarh fort in Jodhpur. As per reports Amitabh Bachchan will be reaching the fort in a charter plane for the shooting of this movie.

Today the shoot of Thugs of Hindostan is scheduled to begin in Mehrangarh fort. The team playing various roles reached Jodhpur on Sunday. The moment the actors reached Jodhpur, public was all set to click selfies with them. Amir Khan is also scheduled to reach Jodhpur soon.

Movie set is ready for the shoot. Red flags have been planted at rampart. These flags are creating the look of a royal empire. The movie is based on Philip Meadows’s novel “Confessions of a Thug” (1839).  The story line is based on the challenges received by British Empire through thug Amir Ali and his gang in the beginning of 19^th century. Amir Khan is playing the role of thug where Amitabh Bachchan is playing his father who also used to be a well known thug of his times.
