The World premiere of the movie “Maharana Pratap, the First Freedom Fighter”, was held today at the Mohan Lal Sukhadia University Auditorium at 5 pm.
Udaipurites showed immense interest towards the movie as it is an appreciable initiative towards the Royal Soil of Mewar.
The movie portrayed the life history of the Royal Hero of Mewar – Maharna Pratap, who never gave up against the Mughals.
There were many loose ends in the movie with storytelling and portrayal of the central character of Maharana Pratap, which should have come out much bolder in shades than others, but did not.
The first half of the movie centered around the characters of Rani Padmini and Meera, which resulted in Pratap’s character not getting enough spot light.
Though, as a first timer in filmmaking, the director did a pretty decent job.
The role of Maharana Pratap was appreciated by the audience, in addition to the potrayal of other characters of that era including the character of Bhim Singh Dodia, which was played very well too.
Overall, it’s a worth watch movie coming from Mewar about the great warrior Maharana Pratap.
