Udaipur, Jan 29, 2026 - The Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival, Music Without Borders, is celebrating its tenth anniversary and will once again provide an international stage to Zinc City Udaipur in February. Organised by SEHAR with the support of Hindustan Zinc and the Rajasthan Tourism Department, the Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival 2026 will be held from February 6 to 8, 2026, offering audiences a celebration of music and culture.
This year’s edition will feature more than 10 international artists alongside India’s most esteemed musicians. The three-day festival will host 20 bands and artists, presenting styles ranging from folk and indigenous traditions to contemporary, pop and global fusion.
Renowned Indian artist Kailash Kher will perform devotional folk and Sufi music, while Amit Trivedi promises a high-energy live experience blending traditional and contemporary sounds. Also performing will be singer Jonita Gandhi, folk singer Taba Chake and classical artist Amrit Nath. Indian Ocean, pioneers of Indian fusion rock and some of India’s most exciting contemporary producers will bring a modern pulse to the festival.
Enhancing the festival’s global identity, the festival will feature international artists with several performing in India for the first time. Celine Sumbultepe (Turkey) and Calle Mambo (Chile) will bring rich and vibrant Latin rhythms with modern beats, while Valery Ekoume (Cameroon) will introduce audiences to Afro-pop and Afro-rock. Other international artists include Algeria’s Sofiane Saidi, Lucibela (Cape Verde), 9 Grader Nord (Norway), Volosi (Poland) and Flamenco Dream (Spain) — a unique father-son duo whose performances carry forward a musical legacy across generations.
Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival is India’s only festival curated across three distinct moods during the day. Morning performances at Manji ka Ghat start at 9:00 am, focusing on meditative music; the afternoon session at Fateh Sagar begins at 3:30 pm focussing on romantic mood, while the day will conclude at Gandhi Ground from 6:00 pm with high-energy contemporary shows.
