Vodafone India Launches ‘Start-Stop’ Service

Vodafone India has started ‘Start-Stop’ service for their customers in all the circles. Now the customers can send messages to start or stop any value added service by sending an SMS on number 321 and this will simplify the process of starting or stopping any value added service like music, games, news, etc.

Kumar Ramnathan, Marketing Chief of Vodafone India said, “In present times a mobile is not only a medium of conversation but also a means of entertainment. We want that all those services that our customers want to use on their mobile must be in their control. ‘Start-Stop’ service will help in the management of value added services to our customers.”

To start any value added service the users have to send an SMS to 321 and a list of categories will be send to them. The customer has to select the category of his choice and then the detailed list of services available in that category will be sent, from which they have to select the number of their choice and the service will be activated on their number.

Similarly to stop any service the users have to type ‘Stop’ in the text message box and send it to 321. A list of subscribed VAS will be send from which the number has to be selected and that service will get deactivated automatically.
