Udaipur, April 9, 2025: Bollywood's popular singer and music director, Vishal Dadlani has left the reality show Indian Idol. He was a judge on the show for six long years. Indian Idol Season 15 ended on April 6, and Vishal announced his decision to leave after the season finale. He shared a video on Instagram with Shreya Ghoshal and Badshah, along with a long message.

Vishal wrote, “That’s it from me! Tonight is my last episode as a judge on Indian Idol after six continuous seasons. I hope the show misses me as much as I will miss it. Thank you Shreya, Badshah, Aadi, Aradhana, Chitra, Anand ji, Sonal, Pratibha, Sahil, Saloni, Muskaan, Abisha, the entire production team, Vilas, Pakya, Kaushik, and all the co-judges, singers, and musicians over the years.”

Explaining the reason behind his exit, Vishal said, “For the last six seasons, I have been stuck in Mumbai for six months every year because of the show. I didn’t get a chance to perform at any concerts. I couldn’t even take time to work on new music. Now, I want to focus on my own work. I want to return to the world of tunes and live shows.”

Vishal had been a judge on Indian Idol since Season 10, which started in 2018. Besides judging the show, he is also known for composing music for many popular Bollywood films like Om Shanti Om, Anjaana Anjaani, Dostana, I Hate Luv Storys, Bang Bang, Sultan, Student of the Year, and War.
