Guest Post by Mustafa Sagar It is an atmosphere of grand celebration for Dawoodi Bohra community of Udaipur as the 100 birthday of our spiritual leader is coming on 25 ^th March 2011. Bohra locality in Udaipur, known as Boharwadi, is decorated with flashing lights, there is an ambiance of happiness and joy flattering everywhere. As a follower of Shia Dawoodi Bohra Community under the agues of Syedna Mohammad Buhranuddin Saheb (T.U.S.), I with my immense pride and gratitude wish all the people of the community a very Happy “Maeve” Milad 100 ^th Birthday. I am proud that I belong to a community led by His Holiness (T.U.S.) who has instilled in mind of every human of our community as how much important Islam is and has served devotedly 100 years of life’s precious journey for the community, the society as well as the outside world. Bestowing his blessings on every creature either humans or small birds like sparrow. Our saintly figured father has taught us about the importance of female’s role in the society’s upliftment. “Imbibe your daughter a very good education just as you do for your son.” – Sydena Mohammad Burhanuddin (TUS) His Holiness is the star of heaven for us; he is the first Dai-ul-Mutlaq/Zamaan who has completed his 100 years in the history of Islam, also in the history of Shia Dawoodi Bohra. In the continuation of a month long processions and celebrations by Dawoodi bohra community of Udaipur a 152km. pedestrian journey from Udaipur to Galiakot was held for the long and healthy life of our spiritual leader. A car rally of above 1000kms was also organized. Then the bird feeder distribution for endangered species of sparrows was held and 52000 bird feeders were distributed across the world. Following events will be held in the next two days

• A grand cake ceremony and worldwide recitation of the Holy Quran was performed for Syedna’s long and healthy life.
• A hundred days’ fasting done by the devotees as a token of their love and gratitude
• A grand procession of about 1.5km will take place in the heart of the city leading thousands of devotees following with the enchanting melodious community band.
• 20,000 students’ procession will be held in Mumbai.
• A live audio / video relay speech by Syedna Saheb (T.U.S.) on the day of his birthday.
