A sudden check turned out to be a wake-up call for the city when 111.5 kg of polythene was seized from 24 places in the city. A sum of rs 5900 was collected as fine by inspection patrol.

Additional district collector O. P. Bunkar told that areas like Sector 11 from Machla Magra main road, Alok School area, Ramsingh ji Ki Badi, Rampur Chouraya’s 12 institutions, Nadakhada, Dhanmandi, Delhigate, Teej Ka Chowk, Mandi ki naal, dholi bawdi, and Bhupalvadi were under the scanner.
