On the second day of the Bird Fair, around 130 species of bird including 70 migrants were witnessed by the bird watchers and nature lovers. The field trip of Bird Fair 2014 brought good experience to all people of different age groups and fields.

According to Sharad Agrawal, “The team Mangalwad and Langavali saw almost 130 bird species which included Bar headed goose, Common crane, Great white pelican, Greater Flamingo, Greylag goose, Gadwal, Northern shoveler and Northern pintail etc.”

Vijendra Prakash, another leader of the group informed that raptors like Easter Marsh Harrier and Long Legged Buzzard were also witnessed.

Bholu Khan, a legend in himself from Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary described about the different bird species in the field and helped people providing information about the varieties of waders like snipe, shanks, stints etc.
