The 13^th mass wedding ceremony of Muslim Sakka community was organized today at Town Hall campus, where 14 couples of community tied into knot of marriage. A mass procession in form of Barat was carried out earlier this afternoon.

According to Mohammad Sakka, President, Sakka Community, “Motto behind this wedding ceremony was to apply a check on undue expenses by members of community. All the wedded couple were gifted with Gas Connection along with a Stove.”

Mohammad Sakka further informed that soon after marriage ceremony every couple was given an oath to avoid all types of conceitedness for successful married life. They were also given oath to save girl child and avoid abortion.
