Strong social issues such as female feticide, women’s status in society and me and my mother took creative forms on blank canvas at the On Spot Painting Competition which was organized as a part of National Theater Festival ‘Alfaaz 2015’ by Natyansh Society of Dramatic & Performing Arts and HZL.

Painting organizer Abdul Mubin Khan and Mohammad Rizwan Mansuri informed that the competition was held at St. Anthony Sr. Sec. School in which more than 200 participants from over 50 schools participated in the event.

While many pictures depicted the strength of womankind, few showed the atrocities on women. The winners of the competition will be awarded on 24^th and 25^th December. The event was managed by Principal William D’Souza of the school along with Arun Jain, Ashfaq Noor Khan, Snehlata Chauhan, Anita Chaplot and Rekha Sisodia.
