21 Couples Wedded in Tailik Sahu Mass Wedding
The Tailik Sahu Community along with Panch Mahasabha Seva Samiti, Udaipur organized 24th Mass Wedding ceremony of community, where 21 couples took oath of marriage.
The Tailik Sahu Community along with Panch Mahasabha Seva Samiti, Udaipur organized 24th Mass Wedding ceremony of community, where 21 couples took oath of marriage. Mass procession (Barat) was also organized which started from Dhanmandi and reached Town Hall campus.
According to Ram Lal Sahu, Convener, Tailik Sahu Community, “Barat procession of 21 Brooms started from Dhanmandi and reached Town Hall campus travelling across Bapu Bazaar, where marriage was organized following all religious rituals.”
Ram Lal Sahu also added that these 21 couples took an oath to protect female child after marriage. Each wedded couple was gifted with a Fixed Deposit Bond worth Rs.10,000. The wedding ceremony was followed by a mass dine of community members in Hummad Bhawan at Teliwada.
