21 Sri Lankan and 6 Indians receive Achiever’s Award

Sun College of Management & Science in collaboration with Ma- My Anchor organized the Achiever’s Award 2015 ceremony at Fateh Garg.

The ceremony was attended by chief guest Arjun Lal Meena, Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari, MLSU Vice Chancellor Prof IV Trivedi, International Golfer & social activist Neelam Pratap Rudi, Director of Foreign Affairs (Sri Lanka) Philip Matthew, Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission’s Director General DJS Kalubovilla, Ma-My Anchor’s Sushmita Shekhar and Sun College’s Arun Mandot.

Philip Matthew informed that they received 400 entries for the awards out of which 21 were selected with the help of the jury. This event is an interface and a medium to know and understand the culture of both the countries.

The recipients of the awards were:

In Social Work Category– Lion MI Anul Qasim, Deshamanya DJ Madwala, MCC Udyanga, Lion SM Pradeep Bandra Senanayke, SRM Mohammad Sarafatulla, WRR Samantha Rajpakshe, Dilip Nichson Samarsinghe, Lion Valisundara, S Arulnandan, Daha Amuna Colombes Lionel, Deshbandhu P. Rasiha, Wethilingham Sivarasa, MACM Sanun, Gini Srivastava, Ravindrapal Singh Kappu.

In Culture Category- Bhupesh Kavadiya, Shakuntala Panwar

In Innovative Business Category– DD Lanka Rasanjana, KADUI Sarathchandra, AM Thananyagam, MC Ashok Kumar, Dr. A Thilak Vikramarachi, Yohan Samuel Arumungam, Jimuni C. D’Silva, Punit Talesra and Madhu Chandra.
