21st Convocation at MLSU
Governor of the State, Margaret Alva presented the academic degrees to the students of MLSU today on the occasion of 21st Convocation Day. The program was held at MLSU Auditorium where 46 students were awarded with gold medals.

Out of 70 students who were given degrees, 14 are from Science stream, 14 from Social Science, 18 from Humanities, 12 from Commerce, 4 from Management Studies and 6 from Education stream.
In her address to the students, faculties and officials of MLSU, Margaret Alva said, “There are many historical economical revolutions noted in the world history, but this current revolution is known as Information Revolution.”
She continued “The information revolution is well affecting economical, social and political interface of the world. Students should prepare themselves to face this revolution.”
While defining ideal education, Alva said, “Education should keep the individual connected to financial changes including cultural and technological changes too.”
