Mewari Runners, Udaipur and Udaipur Cycling Group went ahead with their zeal for helping the poor and the needy. Following this, under “Pedal for a cause” campaign, the 2 teams created a record by cycling and running for 24 hours at Fatehsagar which included children as well.

The campaign lead by Jitendra Patel gathered a good amount which was willingly donated by the aware public of Udaipur. This donation amount will be utilised for buying blankets and sweaters for the poor people who are unable to afford protection in winters. Hats off to the spirits of these teams who think about others instead of wasting time in meagre activities… The aim was to collect funds for 100 blankets but luckily they collected funds for around 200 blankets.

The Udaipur Cycling Group members who participated in “Pedal for a cause” campaign were Jitendra, Rahul Ranka, Abhijeet Singh Rao, Prakash Mali, Luvdev Bagdi, Digvijay Rathore, Dr Anil Gupta, Rahul Gupta, Gajendra Dulawat and Nikhil Ranka.

The Mewari Runners were Dilip Soni, Shakti Singh Dulawat, Pradhyumn Singh, Sunil Kumawat, Vikram, Prashant, Mukesh and Lalit Singh Solanki.

They cannot see anyone sleeping without cover, they cannot bear to see anyone hungry and all they appeal to the masses is to come forward and help the poor and the needy. The teams are working for a noble cause and nothing is as good in comparison as a noble cause need not be compared with anything else.
