On the completion of its 25 successful years of providing quality education, The Study School is celebrating their long successful journey by a diverse Exhibition and Cultural programs at School campus at Badi for two days i.e. 27th and 28th of November 2010.
Spectrum 2010 is a mixture of cultural programs and different exhibitions. More than 15 cultural activities will be performed by students in this 2 day event started at The Study School Campus Badi.
The Mega Exhibition included 10 different schools and colleges of Udaipur, every student took keen interest in preparing charts, models and projects mainly focused on saving environment from pollution, saving energy, conserving rain water and also some serious topic such as Udaipur’s Disaster Spots under the guidance of their respective teachers. Some of them which really impressed me were: Environmental Science Project showing how do Industries and hospitals affect the environment, model was made by Anukrti Mehta and Aashima Jain of 9 th standard, The Study School. Supporting the efforts of the students, teacher in-charge Mita Kunder said “We should make efforts to save Environment”. Productive uses of Pineapple Peel by Bhavya Mahiwal and Bhavya Jain student of 11 th Science at St. Anthony’s showed the uses of reducing oil from the food. They got this innovative idea from a health magazine which stated to lose weight. Control Room Temperature using Aluminum Foil by Megha Punjabi and Timisha Dadhich was very interesting. Also, they showcased their State Level Project: Glass and Green House Effect. Most unique model among them was of Disaster Management with the punch line “Let us induce among Young Buds” exhibiting the flood prone areas of the city and ways to avoid floods to some extent. The map of Udaipur was taken from Google Earth. This project was made by Disha Agarwal and Aayushi Jain of 11 th Commerce and Science stream under the supervision of Mrs Rajni Hoda who is also responsible for bringing up the idea and is a senior teacher of English at St. Anthony’s, Goverdhan Villas. Automatic Roofing System and Solar Water Desalination was presented by Ishita Depda and Anuja Shukhwal of The Study’s 11 th Science. They worked for more than 15 days on the thought provided by their teacher. Hindi Room by the students of 3 rd to 9 th participated under the direction of their Hindi teacher Neelu Bhati, students tried to remind the visitors about their mother tongue by displaying different charts and posters of literature along with small demonstration on a television set. Math Room, here small children displayed the simple calculation on ancient calculator known as Abacus. Think Lab by the students of 11 th Science was guided by the Knowledge Point lecturers in creating Artificial Intelligence and Robotic models and also the games designed in C++ language and computer model of Taj Mahal using the same. Below are few clicks by me, I tried to captured all action going on today at The Study school. All work by these students was highly admirable and completely informative. Their sparkling eyes were narrating the hope and success they will surely achieve in future. There will be more fun tomorrow on Sunday 28 th November 2010 so don’t miss it.To join us on Facebook Click Here and Subscribe to UdaipurTimes Broadcast channels on GoogleNews | Telegram | Signal
