280 pensioners honored for their contribution in Society
On the occasion of Pension Day, Rajasthan Pension Society organized Pensioner Honor Ceremony on Thursday in which Vice Chancellor of MPUAT Parmendra Dashora was the chief guest.
No age can define what you can or cannot do. The title of pensioner may give a view of an elderly person, devoid of responsibility living a relaxed life, but on the other hand there are some in Udaipur city who irrespective of their age are selflessly contributing in the society and creating a path for the youth to follow.
On the occasion of Pension Day, Rajasthan Pension Society organized Pensioner Honor Ceremony on Thursday in which Vice Chancellor of MPUAT Parmendra Dashora was the chief guest.
Dashora stated that there are many pensioners who have retired from good government positions and are still working in their respective fields for the betterment of the society.
Special guest Help Age India’s Rajasthan Chief Nilesh Nalwaya emphasized the opening of job portals for elderly people by Help Age India in which the experienced members can help provide their expertise to the young generation.
The 280 pensioners from the age group of 70 to 90 have been contributing immensely in their fields of work and creating examples for the upcoming generation. All these individuals were honored in the ceremony by offering to them shawl, garland, turban and memento.
