The second day of Nirjala Ekadashi, celebrated as gyaras in temples of Udaipur, was marked with utmost devotion by the people visiting Jagdish Temple.

Enthused devotees filled the ambience with resounding bhajans and donated wholeheartedly to the poor and needy.

According to Dinesh Makwana, President, Dharmotsav Samiti, special arrangements of drinking water and refreshments were made for the devotees at the temple.

Makwana added that with the celebration, preparation for Rath Yatra would speed up, as according to rituals, Lord Krishna takes ride across the city 19 days after Nirjala Ekadashi.

On today’s occasion, a fair was also organised at Gulab Bagh.
