Dungarpur festival will start off today from Badal Mahal. The three day festival will run from 29-Dec to 31-Dec 2018.

The objective of the 3 day festival is to improve tourism in Dungarpur. Tourists to the festival are welcomed with a Tilak on their forehead. This years festival boasts of kite-flying, horse and camel riding, boat riding, music by Fakhir Group (of Jaisalmer fame), Kalbeliya dance, skyline decorated with balloons, fireworks and beautiful lighting arrangements. A bird sanctuary will also be inaugurated during this year’s festival.

A rally by kids will kick off the festival at 3pm today from Gepsagar’s Pal (promenade). A band by Bohra community members will be one of the highlights of the rally.
