The ongoing religious programmes from last three days at Parshwanath Khandelwal Jain temple ended with Rath Yatra and Visarjan of Dhawaja Dand (flag of religious importance) after Jina Abhishek and Nityam Pooja on April 16 2012.

Before this the morning program started on 16th April in the temple from 6.15 am in which Shanti japa, Jina abhishek and Nityam Pooja were carried out, followed by Maha Yagya to bring peace and prosperity in the society and the world.

Later in the programme a mass procession was taken out by the community in which idols of Indra and Indrani were also included in a cart replicating sacred God’s cart, which travelled to all main circles of the city with hundreds of the community members.

The three days long religious program concluded with re-establishing idols of Lord Mahaveer with God on a new Vedi. Thereafter Visarjan of Kalash and Dhawaja Dand took place with which all rituals concluded at the temple.
