38th All India Sociological Conference concludes Today
After 700 paper readings and serious discussions by more than 1500 sociologists, who gathered from all over India in Udaipur, 38th All India Sociological Conference concluded today.
After 700 paper readings and serious discussions by more than 1500 sociologists, who gathered from all over India in Udaipur, 38th All India Sociological Conference concluded today.
Chief Guest of the concluding ceremony was President of Indian Society, Professor IP Modi and Secretary Rajesh Mishra. Program was lead by Professor Bhanu Pratap Mehta. On the occasion, Conference Coordinators, Professor Balveer Singh and Professor Puranmal Yadav were felicitated.
Balveer Singh said that, during the conference, more than 700 papers were read while the sessions were conducted simultaneously in 24 rooms in Arts College.
Overall, every sociologist accepted that the times have changed. With so much technology around and the lack of education, our society has divided itself. To change with times is necessary and to spread education and awareness among the youth is the way forward for a better future.
