A group of 31 Members from “All India Hair & Beauty Association” (A.I.H.B.A) are departing for O.M.C Hair World Cup, which will be held in Frankfurt (Germany) on 2^nd May 2014. More than 1500 stylists from 50 countries will be participating in about 38 different categories.

Informing about the event, Ashok Paliwal (Gen. Secretary) informed, “This world cup takes place once in 2 years, and is known as the biggest events in the hair &beauty industry. Here people from across the world will be seen participating in various categories like hair cut, hair styling, hair color, nail art, body painting, bridal and stage make-up.”

President Dr. Sangeeta Chauhan added, “A team of 12 hairdressers are going to present themselves on this international platform.”

“A team from A.I.H.B.A India, have previously participated in Asia cup, Taiwan, where for the 1^st time, 2 of our hairdressers Pushkar Sen & Kamlesh Sen created history by winning the bronze medal in Gents progressive hair cut category,” said Chauhan.

A set of 3 teams and 2 individual hairdressers will be participating in this World cup. Standing in “Gents progressive cut and style” are Pushkar Sen, Kamlesh Sen (Udaipur) & Milan Bhatia (Mumbai).

Standing in 2^nd team for “senior ladies long hair” are Yogee V. Indulkar, Nikisha Bhatia (Mumbai), Shwetasha Paliwal, & Anil Sen (Udaipur).

In 3^rd team, for ‘Ladies creative’ Mrunal dongre (Mumbai) & Elisha Chauhan (Delhi) are participating. Similarly in the individual category, Neha Kansara (Gujarat) for ladies fashion long hair and Mita vyas (Mumbai) for Progressive cut & styling ladies will be participating.

Ashok Paliwal said, “A.I.H.B.A as an association has been very successful in bringing together many hair & beauty experts from across the country & has been working very hard for the Asia cup & World cup.”
