On the tunes of ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’ young and old alike strutted on the ramp adorning Khadi attire with a desi look. The occasion was Glory of Khadi fashion show, organized by MLSU’s Women Study Center and DSW on Sunday.

The fashionable wardrobe was designed and created by Women Study Center and MPUAT’s Clothing Textile and Apparel. At the event, the Bhavai dance performance of 5-year-old Jheel Nagori won hearts and was awarded with Rs. 500 from Vice Chancellor.

The chief guest was Prof I.V Trivedi, Prof Digvijay Bhatnagar and the event was adjudged by Dr. Gayatri & Dr. Manoj Tiwari, Anita & Sanjay Nagori and Ashok Paliwal.

In the award competition, the winners were Hemendra Sahu (Mr Khadi), Saumya Kawadiya (Miss Khadi), Jai Gandhi (Prince Khadi), Mitali Mehta (Princess Khadi) and Meethalal Singhvi as the Glory of Khadi (senior citizen).
