500 saplings planted on 64th District Forest Day Celebration
District Forest Department and Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, jointly organised a programme on 64th District Forest Day, where school students along with University students planted around 500 saplings, within the MLSU Campus.

Today, while celebrating 64th District Forest Day, all the officials of Udaipur Forest Department including, District Collector Ashutosh Pednekar; Chief Forest Conserver, K.K Garg, planted trees in University Campus with the participating students.
According to Ajit Saxena, Joint Conserver (Forest Department) around 500 plantlets of various species was ingrained, by students of A-One School and University Students. Saxsena added that K.K Garg in his address appealed to everyone to plant least one sapling.
Ajit Saxena further added that through this annual celebration, the department ensures that a proper environmental balance is attained, where around thousands of scions are planted in various parts of district, with the help of public participation.
