The 53rd Maharana Kumbha Sangeet Samaroh at Railway training school commenced with honoring Pt Dayashanker in a tribute to Parishad’s first president Acharya Niranjan Nath.

Vishwabandhu Acharya, Harshbandhu Acharya, S. S Ranawat, Dr. Yashwant Kothari, Akhilesh Joshi, Dr. Prem Bhandari and Kanchan Singh Hiran were presented the memento and honored.

After the lighting of the lamp by the invited guests the event started with the enchanting tunes of Shehnai by Pt Dayashanker.

Eminent musician Kumar Gandharva’s daughter Kalapini Komkali from Dewas (Indore) performed the classical music with chords of Tanpura, Harmonium and Tabla that enticed the audience in its melodious rhythm.

She presented the eloquent songs of Kumar Gandharva with Ramendra Singh Solanki on Tabla and Vivek Bansor on Harmonium. For an hour, the audience was left captivated to the tones of Tanpura being played in the auditorium
