With 85 stalls of handcrafted, creative and household items manufactured by women self help group, the 5-days long Amruta Haat Mela was inaugurated at Maharana Bhupal Stadium on 2^nd November.

The fair was inaugurated by MP Arjun Lal Meena, Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena and District chief Shantilal Megwal. Dignitaries including Additional Divisional Commissioner Somnath Mishra, ADM City OP Bunker, Additional Chief Administrative Officer Shweta Fagedia and District in charge of Swach Bharat Abhiyan Ajit Galundia were also present.

The Haat is one of its kind programme which is directed towards women empowerment. the self help groups formed majorly in the tribal areas of Udaipur division have been given a platform to showcase their talent and earn their livelihood by indulging into self help schemes and projects started by the government, said Arjun Lal Meena.

The fair will run till 6^th November which has stalls from females coming from Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Tonk and Pali etc. The fair is filled with stalls of items of miniature, hand painting, women’s wear, bangles, jewelry, spices, cosmetics, shakes, leather items, bags, pottery, decorative items and much more.
