On November 30, 2022, a run was conducted in honor of Major Mustafa. Hidayat Tulla, a councilor, organized the run. Tarachand Meena, the district collector, opened the event by raising the green flag. Major Mustafa's sister, parents, and collector were present. Students from Central Academy Ambamata Vidyalaya and Chistiya Public School, as well as those from Mahatma Gandhi Garib Nagar Vidyalaya, Rabaumavi Ambamata, enthusiastically participated in the race. City officials were present as well. 

Major Mustafa Amar Rahe patriotic songs and slogans were chanted during the race, and the general people showered flowers on the runners as they left Charak Marg. At Chistiya Chowk, where the marathon finally came to a stop, Major Mustafa's mother addressed the students and encouraged them to join the military and make sacrifices for their nation. The performance came to an end with the National Anthem after Hidayat Tulla congratulated the district collector, police administration, students, and visitors who came for the run.
