A workshop on NPTEL (national Program on Technology Enhanced Learning) was organized today for the students of SS College of Engineering. It was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication and Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

 
Access to free online Lectures from IIT and IISC professors A workshop on NPTEL (national Program on Technology Enhanced Learning) was organized today for the students of SS College of Engineering. It was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication and Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Chief Guest of the program was Manindra Kumar from IIT Chennai. He addressed the students and explained about the NPTEL program which is being run by Government of India. He enumerated the benefits of the program and asked students to join the online group for access to video lectures and notes by various lecturers from IITs and IISCs. Organizing Secretary Dr Manil Mehta shared that around 90 students got benefitted by this program. In the end, Professor Arun Sharma delivered the vote of thanks. NPTEL provides E-learning through online Web and Video courses in Engineering, Science and humanities streams. The mission of NPTEL is to enhance the quality of Engineering education in the country by providing free online courseware.
