Play ‘Agarbatti’ at Shilpgram on August 3
Play addresses gender and caste discrimination; entry free at Darpan auditorium
Udaipur, Aug 1, 2025: As part of the monthly theatre evening Rangshala organised by the West Zone Cultural Centre (WZCC), Udaipur, the play Agarbatti will be staged on Sunday, August 3.
Furqan Khan, Director of WZCC, Udaipur, informed that theatre group Samagam Rangmandal from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, will present Agarbatti at 7:00 pm at the Darpan auditorium located in Shilpgram, Udaipur. The play is written by Ashish Pathak and directed by Swati Dubey.
This play raises burning questions about gender and caste discrimination and the oppression of women and it attempts to present solutions to these issues.
Entry to the event will be free for all.
