The Archeology and Museum Department Udaipur organized a 7-day exhibition at Ahar Museum today.

35 paintings based on the theme of ‘Krishnaavtar Charitra’ were exhibited. All artwork was prepared in 17th century and depicts the avatars of Lord Krishna. The paintings were made by artists of that time.

According to Mubarik Hussain, superintendent Archeology and Museum Department, “The paintings were preserved by Ahar Museum. The decision of exhibition came up under the 60-day eleven special program planned by Central Government.”

The exhibition was inaugurated by Prof. Meena Gaud, chairperson Faculty of Humanities, MLSU and Prof. K.S Gupta, Chairman, Department of History, MLSU.
