AIESEC Udaipur organized UTSAV 2015-Spreading Happiness, a day full of festivals & celebrations for the underprivileged children from Udaipur on 29th November 2015 at Mahaveer Vidhya Mandir, Sector-5.

AIESEC Udaipur organized UTSAV 2015-Spreading Happiness, a day full of festivals & celebrations for the underprivileged children from Udaipur on 29th November 2015 at Mahaveer Vidhya Mandir, Sector-5.

‘Utsav was conceptualized to show the diversity of festivals & cultures in India to these little souls, giving them a day full of happiness & surprises to make them feel special,’ said AIESEC Udaipur President Nikita Jain.

The day started with Lamp Lightening by B.R. Bhati (HR IAS Officer), Dungar Singh Kothari-Director of Archi Group and Dr. Kamla Kothari of Geetanjali Hospital. This was followed by “Draw your Imagination” drawing competition and festive talent hunt.

More than 12 festivals including Lohri, Eid, Diwali, Holi, Christmas, Raksha Bandhan etc. were celebrated under one roof with the kids. The volunteers narrated the story behind each festival, organized cultural activities to educate them about the importance of each festival.

The highlight of the event was the surprise creation of Disney World in which cartoon characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Doreamon and Noddy who enjoyed the fullest with the enthusiastic kids. The event was concluded with prize distribution ceremony.
